Do you ever have those days when your face isn't dry but you feel it's not as smooth as it should be? Well, heres another super simple face scrub that doesn't break the bank!

This is a Rice Face Scrub, so they results you'll have a smooth skin! I make my body scrub little different from the face scrub. For a face scrub your skin is very sensitive and rice can be harsh. What I do is I grind the rice into a fine powder.

1 Tablespoon of Rice = 1 face scrub use

(If you want to make more, grind 2 tablespoons at a time)

You can adjust how fine you want the powder depending on how sensitive your skin is. I find this a very time consuming scrub because to grind rice usually takes about 10-20 minutes.

I add 1 tablespoon of honey and 2 teaspoons of cumber mint water (1 tablespoon of the water if I want a looser scrub) I like to let this sit for 5 minutes before I use it.

GENTLY apply the scrub onto your face and move in circular motions very lightly. You don't have to apply pressure, the rice does all the work! I usually do this for 2 minutes and rinse it off. If your face scrub is thicker you can let it sit on your face for 10 minutes to let the honey moisturize your face!

By the end your face should feel bouncy and smooth! Just resist the urge to constantly touch your face because of the smooth feeling!

Sometimes I find the honey adds light moister o my face but not enough due to the rice. So I like to put some aloe on my face to help sooth my skin. Depending on your skin there may be slight redness, that will go away. However, I do suggest you take this opportunity to add moisturizer to your face. It is the best time for it really sink into your skin!

This scrub helps remove dead skin, dirt and moisturizer your face all at the same time. It is perfect for a spa day or when you've had a rough day on the job!

I hope you guys enjoyed todays DIY Wednesday!
